About Us

Bill Wood Associates commenced trading in May 1990, initially working with SME's supported by the DTI Grant scheme, where up to 60% of the cost of consultancy was born by the DTI. When the grant scheme came to an end Bill Wood Associates started to develop quality initiatives and management systems in the service sector - Business Link, police forces, utility companies etc.

As the business grew Bill Wood Associates moved in to premises in Horwich - north of Bolton near the new Bolton Wanderers Reebock Stadium.

The small group of consultants and support staff have remained unchanged over the past 10 years, hence ensuring a consistency of approach, building up a very strong relationship with clients both pas and present.

In 2000 the consultancy support to clients was extended to include Management Systems addressing Health & Safety and environmental aspects of their business. This ongoing growth is continuing with the introduction of Information Management Systems (including Data Protection & Security) during 2003/04.

By having a team of experienced consultants who have been with the organisation for a number of years plus the development of additional products, Bill Wood Associates is able to offer clients a full Management System consultancy service to support their requirements as their business grows.

Bill Wood Associates is not in the business of providing a short terms fix, but to develop systems and procedures that will allow the business to grow and develop into the future.
